Senior Pricing Actuary - International
Job Description
Our client is seeking a qualified GI actuary, ideally already a resident on the beautiful island of Bermuda, with extensive pricing experience working within specialty reinsurance lines to join their business.
Working with the Specialty underwriting business team, you will provide pricing and deal analysis support, including pricing model development and individual reinsurance treaty pricing.
You will also provide actuarial support to the wider objectives of the underwriting and actuarial teams, including input on reserving and capital modelling as required.
With the proven ability to build and develop pricing models, the successful candidate will be proficient in using external pricing software effectively (such as HX, Tyche Pricing System, Radar etc.) for pricing and portfolio management.
Experience with Python, R and R Shiny and VBA also required, as is strong pricing governance skills including the regular review of models, methodology and assumptions.
Exceptional candidates outside of Bermuda but with the right experience and skillset will be considered.
