Risk Actuary
Job Description Apply: Risk Actuary
This role would suit a qualified actuary with strong risk experience and knowledge of Solvency II capital requirements. As Risk Actuary, you will be constantly challenged whilst gaining exposure across all areas of credit, longevity and catastrophe risk. You will be responsible for delivering independent validation of the PRA approved internal model which will involve:
- Performing 2nd line risk reviews
- Engaging with the PRA and attending internal model governance bodies
- Presenting senior stakeholder findings to the executive board
- Supporting the wider business on any internal model related queries
Ideally, you will have 2 – 5 years post qualified experience with good life insurance or consulting experience.
This is a newly created position that will play a key role in transforming the future growth of the business and helping to make strong financial decisions.
Longer-term, you will have the opportunity to move internally or take on management duties in order to further your career.
On offer is a competitive salary, an annual bonus of up to 20%, plus car allowance, flexible working hours and working from home.
