Reserving Thought Leader
Job Description
Are you a qualified actuary with deep knowledge of either IFRS17 or Solvency II standards? Have you got detailed experience gained from a life insurance or health setting? Are you looking for your next career challenge within a major global reinsurer?
Then this role has your name written all over it.
Playing a key part in determining & implementing our client's Life & Health reserving strategy, you will be responsible for all reserving methodology topics across all bases & metrics.
You will also provide thought leadership on Life & Health actuarial and finance topics while developing approaches & proposals on a range of complex and interesting reserving topics, providing expertise on developments in standards and regulations.
A thought leader on topics of actuarial methodology, the successful candidate will possess significant experience interacting with external auditors and/or regulators.
Knowledge of local reserving or capital standards/frameworks – e.g. USGAAP or RBC/ICS in APAC – would be advantageous.
