Goodman Masson are working on a number of Actuarial roles, focusing on GMP with a large pension consultancy based UK wide.
Analyst role (Junior and Senior levels):
Seeking a part-qualified or newly-qualified DB pensions actuary to sit within a multi-disciplinary team working on complex DB modelling, with focus on delivering GMP Equalisation projects to clients, and getting involved in de-risking projects. You will prepare and check complex calculations, interpret scheme rules within GMPe projects and develop excel, VBA and in-house technologies.
Consultant role:
Seeking a part-qualified or newly-qualified DB pensions actuary with a preference for client consulting. You will provide advice on funding, investment, risk transfer, and covenant. Strong business acumen, the ability to communicate inn a clear and succinct manner, and technical expertise desired.
You will work on a diverse client portfolio, interact directly with Scheme Actuaries, and lead on negotiations. This is an opportunity to work across pensions consulting, GMP and risk transfer.
