Job Description
Our client, a global reinsurer, is seeking a qualified life actuary with excellent critical thinking skills and the ambition to join its office on the beautiful island of Bermuda.
This is a fantastic opportunity to pursue your leadership career, managing the production of our client's quarterly and year-end US GAAP financial and regulatory reporting for senior management and the Board.
Overseeing, implementing and improving actuarial modeling and workflows throughout the entire actuarial life cycle, your work will be instrumental in increasing operational and reporting efficiencies.
In addition, you will monitor and evaluate the performance of in-force deals against pricing, developing and proposing updates to valuation assumptions, as necessary.
With advanced actuarial modeling skills in AXIS, Prophet or Milliman’s Integrate, the successful candidate will also ideally possess advanced experience in Moody’s AXIS coupled with advanced knowledge of fixed-income investments and modeling.
