Shape the future of longevity
Job Description
Are you a qualified (or part-qualified) life or pensions actuary, seeking to shape the future of longevity within a major global reinsurer?
Then this is a fantastic opportunity to join our client as an in-force subject matter expert within the longevity team, enabling them to obtain, implement and manage new business in order to drive profitability.
Working closely with the Head of In-Force, you will ensure vigorous processes are in place from deal exclusivity, through the execution process, and ongoing in-force management.
You will also lead actuarial projects related to backbook management (e.g. novations and mortality basis reviews) while supporting new business tenders both in UK and non-UK markets.
With strong analytical and negotiation skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent team management and interpersonal skills with the ability to act as a role model and mentor to others.
Relevant experience of the DB pensions landscape, bulk annuity market or longevity swap pricing is desirable, as is longevity (re)insurance experience.
A fantastic career opportunity.
