Consultant - Pensions Risk Settlement
Job Description
Are you a talented consultant with significant experience of Defined Benefit pensions, coupled with a strong technical background, looking to expand into project and client management?
Then this is an exciting opportunity to join the risk settlement team of a leading pensions and insurance consultancy where you will oversee the activities required for schemes once a buy-in transaction has completed, through to buyout and eventually wind-up.
In this key role, you will project manage and lead buy-in to buyout/wind-up projects efficiently and within budget.
You will also liaise with and manage a range of internal and external stakeholders including Trustees and Sponsors along with their wider advisory teams.
In addition, you will contribute to new business initiatives, possibly as part of new business tenders and presentations.
With excellent organisational and planning skills, the successful candidate will possess strong written, verbal and presentation skills to all levels as well as some buy-in, buyout and wind-up experience and a good understanding of the key workstreams and their interactions.
Alongside this, you will have well-honed interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to communicate and build long-term working relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
Experience in project-based work is desirable.
